What are the best places in Europe to visit?

Me and two of my best friends are going backpacking through europe in May 2010. We are getting a eurail pass because we heard that it is the best and cheapest way to travel around europe. We are going for a 4 weeks and our goal is to visit 7 different countries. Our eurail pass allows us to travel to 21 countries and we are having trouble picking 7 of them.
These are our choices: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland,
Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

In your opinion which 7 are the best to visit??
We are all females and we are 22 years old. We would like a nice mix of culture and entertainment. Thanks in advance :)

Two places not to miss, Liechtenstein, between Austria and Switzerland ! Its beautiful Alpine countryside and small towns, and very hike-able, and nice town there. The train ride between Innsbruck and Switzerland / Liechtenstein is very beautiful, don’t read your books, look out the window ! The other place is in Norway, between Oslo and Bergen, there is the highest point that any mainstream train goes, and you can get off and hike and see a glacier and sparkling clean meltwater from the glacier, then catch one of the next trains on the way to the city. Its a great afternoon hike. Also (south of Munchen) visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen, an absolutely pretty town with amazingly clean water in the little river, nice countryside to ride bikes on the trails, and close to there you can catch a train that goes up the tallest mountain in Germany and check out the view from the observation deck or have coffee at the restaurant there, and from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, there is an inexpensive bus that shuttles you to the very famous castle Neuschwanstein (the one that Walt Disney tried to copy). Germany is pretty safe and its nicest in small towns compared to the busy globalized big cities. IF you go to Paris, beware of pickpockets and thieves. Safeguard your passports and trainpass and wallets. The Netherlands was a bit too cramped / crowded for me to enjoy, and a bit freaky. Try Prague / Praha Czech Republic, should be very beautiful architecture and landscape there.
Hungary is very beautiful too.
