train reservation for Eurail Global Youth Pass holder?
I have a Eurail Global Youth Pass. How do I make reservations for seats on trains?
You have to do this in person at the ticket counter in the train station. You show them your pass and say what train you want a reservation for. I’ve paid anywhere from three euros to fifteen euros. You can do it days in advance, and you don’t ALWAYS have to do it for every train, so ask. I’ve gotten a reservation right before boarding the train, but I’ve also sometimes had hard times finding trains into large cities with available seats one hour before departure. If you are going now, you should be pretty much okay, but in summer it might be tricker. Have fun!!
