Interrail Reservation
help with renfe(spanish rail) seat reservations!! Any help would be appreciated but see details!
Ok I need help with this….I’ve recently bought the interrail spain pass from www.interrailnet.com
At the site it said that reservation is not required tho for special trains you need reservation. So I visited the site www.renfe.es (spanish rail) to see if there is an option of only reservation. But I didn’t find one even in the English translation of the page (maybe I was stupid enough to not see it) so now I need to know how to reserve the seat for the train having the interrail pass. Once again I say I don’t want the tickets, but only the seat reservation.

All long distance trains (AVE; larga distancia) and some medium distance trains (Regionales) can be boarded only with reservation. Best thing would be:
Prepare a plan for all trains you want to hop on in advance with the train numbers and go after arrival to a station, show them your pla and ask them to make the reservations. Otherwise go at least one day before travel (better earlier) and do it.
On the homepage www.renfe.es is in the left lower corner a posibility to change the language. If you don´t find the posibility there, go on the top to comunicación (communication) and tell them what you want. They will give you the answer within a few hours, normally.
