Eurorail Train Map
Distances between cities (in hours) – times for trains (when they stop running, etc)?
I’ll be going to Europe next year for 2 weeks – Germany, France and Italy.
I’m curious to know if theres a map or something that says how far away the cities are from each other for ex in Germany how far are Berlin and Hamburg, Munich, Leipzig, Koln, etc. from each other? As well as For example Munich and Paris, etc. etc. but PLEASE tell me in hours not km, I just need to know how long it’ll take from place to place.
And I’d like to know the times for the trains. Do they ever stop running? If so whats the last time you can get on them? Thanks in advance!
And on average what are the prices for the EuroRail (thats what its called, right?) I know from here to next year they’ll probably change, but just curious to the prices as of now.
Thanks!
This map shows hours between cities by train, and average price (listed in USD). It’s the best map I’ve found of its kind.

For long-distance trips though, you have to consider layovers as well in your schedule.
The Eurail prices differ a lot, depending on what pass you buy. If you will only be using the trains a few times to go from city to city, you might find it cheaper to buy single tickets.

The times can be found on the Bahn web site. Overnight trains obviously run at night, other trains depend on the local schedule. There’s no set end time for a day, especially since you are talking about several countries/cities.
