Eurorail Timetable
Night trains from Amsterdam to Berlin?
I just bought a Eurrail pass to travel between Germany and Netherlands.
On the Eurorail timetable, I can’t find any night trains from Amsterdam to Berlin. I can’t believe that there aren’t any night trains on that route.
Is that true?
If there are night trains for that route, how can I book them with my Eurorail pass?
Thanks to Jean-Michel and Willeke for sharing the info!
The train mentioned by Jean-Michel — Can I use my Eurorail pass for that train? Or do I have to buy a separate ticket?
You can book Night trains on your Eurail pass through this site, I am told: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-reservations-night-trains
Other reservation pages are: http://www.eurail.com/eurail-reservations-supplements-domestic and http://www.eurail.com/eurail-reservations-supplements-international-trains
For train times and schedules I prefer this site, which will also show whether you need a reservation or not:
http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml
And that site does also only find the one train Jean-Michel had already found for you, although I would get of in Berlin Hauptbahnhoff, at 4:21 AM, not a nice time to arrive after an overnight travel.
Maybe you can better choose a day train, those typically take between 6 and 6and a half hours. One of the other sites mentioned above can help you to book reservations for those trains, if wanted.
