Supplementary charges on eurail. But how much exactly???
Well, it stated on the timetable that if we chose to book on night train with sleepers and bunk beds that we would be charged a supplementary fee, I just wanted to know how much are they? Would be it more expensive, in the end, comparing to say a night in a hostel?
If you are looking at saving money take the train ride, but don’t get the sleeper or bunk bed and try to sleep on the seat. If that is not acceptable, hostels are cheap in Europe and would be the alternative.
One thing I love about Europe, the price is the price. All taxes and charges are already built in. Build a few itineraries on-line and see what the price is. Figure 10-15 Euros for a hostel.
