Eurail Switzerland

Is travel between cities in Switzerland covered by the eurail global pass or do you need to pay more?
I am trying to budget for my trip to Europe next year in March and will travel around Switzerland for 8 days. I do understand that I will pay for the scenic trains such as Glacier Express but what about the connect train from say Zurich to Lucerne/Interlaken? Help would be appreciated?
thanks for the great answers guys
Any regular train routes in Switzerland are covered by the Eurail/Global pass – including routes between the cities you are mentioning. Only exception: Private trains and cable cars to a few of the highest mountains and peaks, however, discounts are granted there. Even the so called “scenic trains” (Glacier Express, Bernina Express, Golden Pass) are covered as these are nothing more than very normal train routes that are also used by the locals. Just seat reservations on such trains (and of course on regular routes, too) have to be paid for additionally. Seat reservations in the so called panoramic coaches are cumpolsory – however, look out for these, as the view from them is spectacular.
