Eurail Pass to Germany, Austria, Slovakia, and Czech?
I am landing in Frankfurt and want to train to munich, then train to Bratislava (through austria) then train to Prague, and finally up to Berlin. I can’t find packages that effectively cover these countries. In fact I barely see Slovakia on any of the websites other than in some “eastern europe packages.” Are they not a part of the network? Why is Slovakia not even listed as boardering Austria, am I missing some sort of political distinction from Czech?

One way to do it is to buy a European Eastpass, which includes Austria, Czech, Slovakia, Poland, and hungary.
You can get 5 days travel within 2 months for $191 usd.
then you can pay separate from Frankfurt to Salzburg via Munchen. depending on the train you take it can cost as low as 29 euro up to 95 euro.

It seems that Slovakia doesn’t coop. with the Eurail selectpass, but you could get 5 days in 2 months for Austria, Czech, and Germany for $279 (if you’re under 26), and pay the difference through Slovakia, which might be about $20 at the most if you’re only going to Bratislava. You’re covered up to the borders of Austria and Cz, and you can explain to the tcket agent at train sta. that you just need to pay from the border to Bratislava.
Actually, in your case, if you’re only going to the cities you said, you might pay $195 max from Frankfurt to Bratislava via vienna, and if you shop online for the cheaper trains, it might be half that.
