Discount Eurail Pass
How do I get a discount on a Eurail pass from ISIC?
I was told that I would be able to get a discounted Eurail pass using my ISIC card but skyping with the people at ISIC. Is this true and if so how do I go about it? If this isn’t true are there any ways I can get discounted eurail passes?
Unfortunately, that information was a bit misleading. At times, RailEurope have offered a promotion where they will offer you two free travel days on your Eurail pass if you have an ISIC card. At this point in time, that promotion is not valid.
As for how to get a discount, keep checking the RailEurope website at http://www.raileurope.com under the “deals” section. Every now and again they offer some kind of promotion, especially in the fall and winter when they are in their down time for sales.
In case you do not know already, the best value you can get on a pass is if you qualify for a Youth pass, which lets you buy a second-class pass if you are between the ages of 16-25. For Eurail Global and Eurail Select passes, this is the only way you can get a second-class pass, which ends up being quite a bit less expensive than a standard first-class pass.
